Company founded: a team of experts \/\u00a01979 \u2013 1988<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The\u00a0Infotel\u00a0Group was founded in 1979 by a team of experts:\u00a0Bernard Lafforet, Michel Koutchouk, Alain Hallereau and Josyane Muller.\u00a0In the beginning, the company was based in Paris, with a focus on providing databases as well as\u00a0services,\u00a0training\u00a0and\u00a0software for large companies. A few years after its founding and following on the success of its software,\u00a0Infotel opened an office in the U.S.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Company grows: software and local services \/\u00a01989 \u2013 1998<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The company continued to grow by opening its\u00a0Toulouse agency\u00a0in 1989 and setting up a new\u00a0Infotel company in Germany\u00a0(Infotel GmbH) in 1990.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Throughout this period, the Group also undertook the development and launch of\u00a0new software utilities for databases. The Group carried out its first\u00a0external growth operation\u00a0in 1998 and obtained\u00a0ISO 9001 certification\u00a0in the same year.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Expansion around \u201cWeb-to-Database\u201d \/\u00a01999 \u2013 2008<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

On 21 January 1999, Infotel entered the New Paris Stock Market (now known as Euronext Paris, compartment B (Mid Cap)). This saw Infotel making another historic step forward in its development by acquiring the means of financing its\u00a0projects for growth. In the same year, the company signed its first\u00a0agreement with IBM\u00a0for the development of\u00a0Db2 utility software\u00a0sold by IBM.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Also in 1999, Infotel adopted its strategic\u00a0Web-to-Database\u00a0positioning, a comprehensive technical offering to meet evolving needs and help companies open their information systems.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In December 1999, the Group incorporated the\u00a0S12\u00a0company and, the following year, two other companies,\u00a0Sporen\u00a0and\u00a0Innovaco Formation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

At the beginning of 2006, Infotel continued to follow its external growth strategy by acquiring and subsequently integrating the\u00a0Odaxys\u00a0group, based in Rennes and Nantes,\u00a0a major IT player in France\u2019s Western Region. Expansion continued with the\u00a0opening of regional agencies in Lyon, Bordeaux, Le Mans and Niort.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Ambitions 2012 \/\u00a02009 \u2013 2012<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The company grew in geographic terms with the\u00a0acquisition of Addax\u00a0in 2010, giving it a presence in the Nice region (Sophia Antipolis), Aix-Marseille and Monaco. Subsequently, the\u00a0acquisition of Empeiria\u00a0in early 2012 provided coverage of the Lille region.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Meanwhile, the software offering expanded by involvement in the\u00a0creation of Archive Data Software, opening up a new channel of distribution for\u00a0Arcsys<\/a>\u00a0archiving software. Acquisition of the German company\u00a0Insoft Software GmbH<\/u><\/a>\u00a0took place in June 2011, completing this offering.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Performance Plan 2016 \/\u00a02013 \u2013 present<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Infotel Group is continuing its expansion by\u00a0pursuing a key account growth strategy accompanied by IT services focused on mobility. The company has also helped key accounts in\u00a0managing big data\u00a0and has increased the size of its international business.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
