A New 5-Year Strategic Plan: 2022–2026

To navigate the 2022–2026 period and accelerate the Group’s transformation, a new strategic plan targeting 2026 has been outlined.

This plan leverages a favorable market dynamic and is structured around four key pillars:

  • Outperforming our reference market by capitalizing on our growth drivers.
  • Increasing the contribution of the Software division with the ambition to double Software revenue by 2026.
  • Implementing a dynamic and attractive HR policy, branded “HUMAN FIRST”, focused on strengthening recruitment initiatives and employee retention.
  • Accelerating national and international development.
A 5-Year Strategic Plan: 2017–2022

To drive its growth, Infotel launched a new 5-year development plan in 2017.

This plan is built around three core principles:

  • Innovation: Since its inception, innovation—whether technical, methodological, or business-oriented—has been integral to Infotel’s DNA. The company has consistently stayed at the forefront, adopting technologies and methods that didn’t exist at the time of its founding.
  • Ambition: Remaining a top-tier partner for our clients ensures the Group’s development and provides fulfilling career opportunities for our employees.
  • Continuity: As our results demonstrate, the model we have developed is a proven success.
Performance Plan: 2013–2016

The Infotel Group continued its expansion by implementing a growth strategy focused on major accounts, complemented by IT services centered on mobility. The company also supported major accounts in managing big data and expanded its international operations.

Expansion Around "Web-to-Database": 1999–2008

On January 21, 1999, Infotel entered the Paris Nouveau Marché (now Euronext Paris, compartment B – Mid Cap), marking a historic milestone in its development by securing the resources to fund its projects and drive growth. That same year, the company signed its first agreement with IBM for the development of the Db2 utility software sold by IBM.

Also in 1999, Infotel adopted its strategic web-to-Database positioning, offering a comprehensive technical solution to meet evolving needs and help companies open their IT systems.

In December 1999, the Group acquired S12, followed by the acquisition of two additional companies, Sporen and Innovaco Formation, in 2000.

At the beginning of 2006, Infotel continued its external growth strategy by acquiring and integrating the Odaxys Group, based in Rennes and Nantes, a major player in IT in western France. This expansion continued with the opening of regional offices in Lyon, Bordeaux, Le Mans, and Niort.

Ambitions 2012: 2009–2012

During this period, Infotel expanded geographically with the acquisition of Addax in 2010, establishing a presence in the Nice region (Sophia Antipolis), Aix-Marseille, and Monaco. Subsequently, the acquisition of Empeiria in early 2012 extended coverage to the Lille region.

Simultaneously, the software offering was broadened through participation in the creation of Archive Data Software, opening a new distribution channel for the Arcsys archiving software. The acquisition of the German company Insoft Software GmbH in June 2011 further enhanced this offering.

Company Growth: Local Software and Services (1989–1998)

Infotel continued its development by opening its Toulouse office in 1989 and establishing a new company in Germany (Infotel GmbH) in 1990.

Throughout this period, the Group also focused on developing and launching new utility software for databases. In 1998, Infotel carried out its first external growth operation and achieved ISO 9001 certification in the same year.

Company Founding: A Team of Experts (1979–1988)

The Infotel Group was founded in 1979 by a team of experts: Bernard Lafforet, Michel Koutchouk, Alain Hallereau, and Josyane Muller. Initially based in Paris, the company focused on providing databases, services, training, and software for large enterprises.

A few years after its creation, following the success of its software offerings, Infotel established an office in the United States.
